It started about an year back, when Nokia unveiled its Lumia line of smartphones, specifically Lumia 710, and Lumia 800. With an interface that will blow your mind away, and mesmerizing looks, the device was expected to be the biggest hit of Nokia, since the beginning of time. This was the first Windows OS powered phone by Nokia as well. The phone was released and heavy demands started flowing in. I was one of them, and a Lumia follower until I became a victim of bugs on my Lumia 800. Complaints started flowing in, regarding phone over heating, and battery draining issues, and slowly Lumia line of smartphones started to get rejected by customers all over the world. With an amazingly developed interface, Lumia could have had huge success, and it still does, of some sort, if some things were fixed by Nokia before launching the device. Anyway, if you are one of the Lumia users, here is a good news for you.

You can now update your Windows OS Mango to Tango. That’s right, it’s time to hit the Update button. Nokia has released software update for Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 recently for users in India and some other countries. The Tango update adds to the glory of Lumia smartphones interface, with new type of notifications, features and capabilities.

This is the first major update for Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 and we are also expecting a hint of Windows 8 OS for Lumia line of smartphones later this year. Remember the flip-to-silence feature which Samsung introduced in its recent Galaxy devices? You put your phone’s face down, and the call automatically gets into silent mode. Something similar has been introduced in Windows Phone Tango OS for Lumia devices.  Also, the update will fix some bugs present in Mango OS.
