Seems like the rumors and updates coming from a lot of tech blogs came out to be true. Microsoft has recently introduced its first Windows 8 tablet , called Surface. The tablet goes with the tagline- “Tablet that’s a great PC, and a PC that’s a great Tablet” . The Surface looks promising to us, since it has been loaded with some appreciable features, and a 9.33 mm profile.

We are sure that the Surface is going to give good competition to the present day tablets, including the New iPad with its features like 10.6″ display, weighing only 1.5 pounds, a full sized USB 2.0, magnesium casing and a built in kickstand. That is not all. Along with the tablet, the makes of Windows also introduces a set of accessories for this tablet, which include a multi-touch keyboard with inbuilt track-pad, proving its tagline pretty well!

If you are among those who don’t really prefer Windows 8 OS on tablets, there is nothing to worry about. Microsoft is going to release this tablet in two variants. One being the Windows RT Tablet OS, built on ARM architecture, and the other one running on Windows 8 OS. The Windows 8 OS variant is slightly heavier, thicker and includes on board cooling fans.

The tablet also comes with a Stylus, so as to provide real time writing experience to users. The Windows experience is outstanding and comes with the Windows Store support so that you can download media, games and apps on the go.
