If you own a MacBook, you would have at times, thought if you could run Windows OS on your MacBook notebook. While many are awaiting arrival of their pre-ordered MacBook Pro with Retina Display, we have got our friends at AnandTech featuring Windows 8 OS, successfully running on Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display. With a glittering pixel-density to woo your eyes away, and communication ports like ThunderBolt, USB 3.0 the notebook is simply ideal for performing any high-resolution activity on it, and the Windows 8 OS running on it is like a cherry on a pie, just saying! ;)

Though the Windows 8 supports a maximum resolution of 1600X1200,  it was something unusual to see this OS running on a notebook supporting resolution of 2880 x 1800. The release preview however, did allow Anand to run this operating system on such high resolution without any trouble.

At this high resolution, the text was though a bit too small, however this can be fixed to an extent by changing DPI which makes the text a bit easier to decipher.

As you can see in the image above, the Windows 8 native tiles appear to have gathered around the left part of the screen. This is probably due to the high pixel density of the notebook!

No doubt, MacBook Pro Retina Display marks the beginning of an all new series of notebooks, with uber quality display, graphics, SSD storage and other mesmerizing capabilities. I am just waiting for getting my hands on the all new MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which can be expected in a day or so!
