The world of technology really does speak a lot when a hyped product is about to be launched in the market. What could be more evident than the reports and rumors coming from everywhere relating to Apple’s iPhone 5. However, this time its the rival company which is in news for the leaked images of their upcoming smartphone front panel. We are talking about Samsung, which is expected to unveil its Galaxy Note II smartphone in the coming week. Here are some leaked front panel images of the Note II confirming a 5.5-inch screen presence on the device.
The news has again arrived from none other than the French tech blog, nowhereelse.fr which has recently become the famous source for publishing leaked photographs of iPhone 5, and now Galaxy Note II as well. The phablet- Galaxy Note was first released last year and was accordingly turned down by many for a larger uncomfortable screen, and here we have, a Galaxy Note II with a 5.5-inch confirmed screen size. A device which landed itself somewhere in between the phones, and tablets, called ‘phablets’ by many didn’t really make appreciable margins in the market, however we personally liked the smartphone, neglecting its huge screen size.
The 14 cm screen size (diagonally) meaning 5.5-inch display is what Galaxy Note II will be sporting, if these images are genuine. The overall body is slightly thinner than the first generation of Galaxy Note, however the screen size has seen an increment of 0.2-inches apparently.
The hardware would be totally revamped, and would include a much faster, and stronger quad-core Exynos 1.6Ghz processor. Other features would be similar to the ones in Galaxy S III, and are probably the latest ones out in the market. Display would be Super AMOLED with 16:10 aspect ratio. The Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to be unveiled on August 29 ‘2012 in Samsung’s IFA 2012 event.
