There are times when your favorite devices start becoming a piece of trouble for you, for instance the app you once opened, is not willing to respond when you have other things to do with your phone at that moment. Restarting your iPhone would be a time consuming process, for instance you need to make an emergency call, while an app refuses to respond, here is a set of working solutions you can follow, and kill that unresponsive app on your iPhone instantly, without any software. The good thing about this function is that it has been added by Apple itself, but not many people know about it. You don’t require any jailbreak tweak or third party application. Here’s what to do, right after the jump below!

Kill Unresponsive Apps On Your iPhone Instantly

There’s a one-step process and a two-step process to kill unresponsive application on your iPhone easily. If the first method does not work well for you, you can try the second method which is a sure-shot success method.

One-Step Method [60% Success]

The basic and most common method is to either single tap the Home button and then close the frozen app by double tapping the Home button and choosing it from the list of open apps. Well, in most cases the single tap won’t work. If it doesn’t, you can double tap the Home button, select any other open app from the list of apps, and then close the frozen app by double tapping the home button and choosing frozen app from the list.

Two-Step Method [Sure-shot]

In case neither of the previous methods work for you, this means that your Home button has become unresponsive along with the frozen application. In such a situation, simply press and hold the Power/Lock button first, until the red-bar comes up [Slide to power off].

Once the Slide To Power Off option comes up, gently get rid of the Power/Lock button, and instantly press and hold the Home button for a few seconds until you land on the springboard. By now the frozen app has been terminated or closed by your iPhone.  In case the same app gives you trouble every time you open it, you can re-install the app or update your iPhone to the latest iOS version since some apps have platform specific performance.

These are some basic functions of your iPhone, but most of the users don’t really know about it, specially the Two-Step method. Let us know your views via the comments section below. For more, keep subscribed!
