The moonshot project, as Larry Page loves to call it might just be the future glasses, shades we wear everyday. While the Google Glasses project was first announced in April 2012, just before the Google I/O event which was demonstrated the on the stage, the developers at Google HQ have taken a step ahead in its development, and the so called engineering toy, bundled with Android OS platform is available for Google developers at a price of $1,500. With Google developing Google Glasses, speculations are that Apple is working on a similar real-time product, a wearable computing smart-watch for instance, not to forget that Google made the Google Glass debut in it’s big event last year.
Google Glasses- Real Life Capturing
The reality eye-ware, which has been Google’s one of the greatest projects is still in it’s development phase and only available for Google developers to purchase, so we can conclude that the tech-giant is currently working on mainstreaming the product so more and more people can actually use it in real time in the coming future. Well, we just got our hands on a video which shows real-life Google Glass experience, and in case you are wondering, Yes, everything you see in the video below has been captured by Google Glasses. We even came across Google’s ‘If I had Glass’ contest , pointing to the following excerpt.
We’re looking for bold, creative individuals who want to join us and be a part of shaping the future of Glass. We’d love to make everyone an Explorer, but we’re starting off a bit smaller. We’re still in the early stages, and while we can’t promise everything will be perfect, we can promise it will be exciting.
Very fact that Google Glass is getting much of the tech attention worldwide is that, there has been no similar product the world has seen in the past. It’s like an innovation coming true, it’s not a smartphone, not a tablet or everyday products we come across. It’s the future of glasses, and yet a start to a whole new revolution in the world of technology. You can find the real-life video footage of Google glasses below!
