The recent days, specially the last week has been a roller coaster considering the fact that a number of algorithm changes were rolled out by the search engine giant, Google. Now confirmed by none other than Google, we have good three algorithm updates released by Google since September 27th ‘2012. All the three updates seem to have a common motive, of degrading low quality content producing websites. Here’s more, right after the jump!
First to be witnessed was one of the highest-impact Panda updates ever, and also the 20th Google Panda Update ever since February ‘2011. The update is said to have affected good 2.4% of the searches all over the web, and its execution took good 4-5 days before results could be seen. As per Google, the updates were so high-impacted, that an average Google user would be able to point out the difference in the ranking of web pages across Google’s Search Engine. Talking particularly about Gadgec, we can see our keywords literally dancing over the past one week, and finally we can see a gradual progress today. So we have a green signal here on Gadgec, and the traffic seems to have increased by 30%. Further, the Panda Update was rolled out on September 27th ‘2012 but was confirmed by Google few hours ago.
After 20th Panda Update, the EMD update launched to target domains having keywords was seen on September 28 ‘2012. The recent update as confirmed by Google’s head of webspam team Matt Cutts was Penguin refresh algo which affected ~0.3% of the English queries, and was seen impacting multiple other languages as well.
