So the news as most of you would already be aware of, is the official release of Microsoft’s current operating system, yes, the Windows 8. While we have already seen a positive response on the native Internet Explorer present in Windows 8, that’s right, people are actually loving it. For obvious reasons, Microsoft’s Windows 8 does not include Google’s services like the metro-style app or much loved web browser, Google Chrome. Never mind, Google has its own ways of pleasing fans and lovers, and recent launch of “Get your Google back” clearly explains this. Here’s more, right after the jump.
Google has recently released a website for Windows 8 and Google lovers, that goes by the name Get your Google back which basically lets Windows 8 users download and install Google services like the new metro-style Google app for Windows 8, and Google Chrome web browser which are apparently unavailable in Windows 8 app store and cannot be installed on Windows 8 RT otherwise. The much popular Google search app has a lot more to offer to users, and has an iPad app like interface along with voice search, image search, Google instant and shortcut capabilities. That’s not all, you will also get to see the doodles right on the Google search app for Windows 8.

While at one place we have several apps like Bing search,SkyDrive, Bing Weather etc bundled with Windows 8, it’s surprising that Microsoft decided not to include Google’s app in its Windows 8 app store. The operating system on the other hand is getting positive response from tech. critics all over the world, and more updates will be released soon.
